Oh he was lovely - it is the hardest part of owning horses or ponies, but you will find that the raw pain eases and those happy memories will bring comfort. Have a from someone who has had to say goodbye to so many down the years.

I’m so sorry, I’m on day 4 after losing Coblet on Monday and still very down and sad. I’ve just embraced wallowing and being quiet as a friend told me not to fight it and pretend everything was ok.

I'm sorry you've lost him, he looked a beautiful and well loved boy. Its almost unbearable isn't it? I had to have a while out of horses when I lost my big grey boy. Time did heal, but I still think of him every day. Sending hugs!

Im so sorry. So many of us have been through it but when it’s you suffering there’s nothing anyone can say really. I always remember how sore my eyes were when my beloved Pete was put down. He’s the one in my pic. Be kind to yourself and wallow if you need to.
