Well Colleen and I and the mutts teamed up for our third walk earlier today, my turn to play host so we travelled to the forest near Dungonnel Dam.

Tikka and Bodo now get on like a house on fire (although there is still lots of initial playfighting and he managed to flip her right over during one of his bodyslams

It was wet and windy but we escaped the worst of it, the dogs had a blast as always and as usual the humans retired afterwards for tea and Wispas and yummy sandwiches (Colleen, you shouldn't have!!!!)

Then I decided to take Bella to the beach afterwards.
Bad move. The rain was hurty. Although my face is nice and exfoliated and pretty princess got to look windswept and interesting.

Yes, we are both quite spoilt for scenery in our respective neighbourhoods!

I so envy you your walking country, have just come in from trudging round the lanes in the wet with the girls, and getting splashed frequently by passing cars. I bet you are so thrilled the way Bodo is getting on with Tikka, he is a different dog. I love the way sables colour deepens with age . Although Bella does look as if she is enjoying posing in the wind I bet she is now stressing about the damage the sand and salt water is doing to her coat.

MM, I am just thrilled with him, that is precisely the word, I really am, walking with Tikka has been just brilliant for him.

Yes, Bella gave herself a proper mammoth groom in the car on the way home
