You've just moved stables because your pony has suffered a bad bout of colic and needs to be on a part of the yard where she can see others.

Another livery doesn't like it. Had her own eyes on that stable

Then one night your hay and water are "mysteriously" taken from your stable and your pony who mustn't stress as it could induce more colic - does.

I'd be hopping mad even if my pony wasn't at risk of getting colic from any stress

I would be livid. I would also tell the yard owner that it had happened (no names) and say that I was not happy that it had happened on a yard where I pay good money to keep my horse and where YO has a duty of care -and that if any other 'mysterious' things happen I would hold them responsible if my horse was sick.

I'm guessing this is linked to the thread from earlier about the woman who has put her horse in someone else's stable??

If so, she's already been told what to do.

If not, then my apologies.

Im sure this is the third post Ive read about this??? I maintain what I said the first time-move the horse to a yard where it will be happy.

OMG yes i would be fuming!! what is it with some people

I was on a yard where someone was jealous and didn't like me.....
I had water buckets emptied on my stable floor, snow put in my grooming box and other petty things

drew the line when ned statred to get headshy, needless to say i moved on soon after

Some people are just pathetic, but in this situation where a ponies welfare is put at risk i think someone needs a good swift kick in the f*nny

I had a similar problem with a mare with colic but the other livery got the stable in the end

so im moving asap

S'cuse my ignorance on these matters - but when you have livery aren't you allocated a stable?

I've got my name down at a livery (for when I get a horse....) and I assumed that once sorted, you had your own stable - or is it a 'free for all' at some yards?

Or, does it vary from yard to yard?

She was fine MCM, bit of initial panic to find her rolling in the morning thinking it was round 2 but she was her usual self so the rolling wasn't connected

A letter of complaint has been written. The user in question thought she could best explain her feelings when not face to face with someone and being that angry

DL - I would be furious if someone had done that to a horse!!! and shocked

First of all, I would have a word with the YO, and ask if there was any reason why the horse had been left like that, then I would ask the others if they had seen anything, or knew of any reason why this was done.

I would then tell YO that, as a vet's bill would be arriving, that it would be passed to the person responsible!!

You will have no chance of anyone paying the bill, but it might make them sit up and take notice.

I would then start looking for another yard. What a horrible thing for someone to do
