AAD BBQ

I want to come, to show off my new improved Tyson & show off how flubbley B dogs lips really are :)
I'll have to bring my HUSBAND though ( :p ) as I cant cope with both k9's on my lonesome.. and I dont know anyone :o

Husbands are allowed as long as they are happy to deal with the bbq and not say much.:p
Shame you can't make it Galaxy, but you'll get lots of brownie points for helping with PC.;)

I cant make it now im afraid as going on holiday for a change.:)

Hope it goes well and everyone has a good time.

Oh, and Emma is in season so probs not a good idea anyway! She is being a bit of a tart!:D

Thats a shame, would love to see what Evie makes of Emma.
I have found the rest of my bbq so will get some charcoal and that at least is sorted. Only a couple of people have pm'd me for directions, presume the rest have been stalking me and know where I live.

Pimms sounds good even warm -could bring some too? or maybe wine (I'm very indecisive) I'm a veggie (sorry!) so will be bringing some veggie burgers and thought perhaps cheesecake or something for afters?

I think Annette is also vegetarian so the two of you might want to collaborate on that front. :) Although I'm a meat eater I do like the odd spicy bean burger, hint hint. :p I will do a veggie pasta salad as well.

I will bring Pimms/lemonade/fruit/plastic cups then - do we have any idea of numbers? We may need a second bottle. :p

I still have some plastic cups from last year (Sponge Bob and Beauty and the Beast, think u brought them :p). I'm getting a few more responses, will try and sort out a list later and put it up here so we get an idea of numbers.

You would think that supermarkets would have stacks of plastic cups for sale in late summer but no, the only ones I could find in Sainsbos were kid's party ones. :p Will get a spare pack from Poundland this time. In fact they're probably the cheapest for paper plates too, I shall have a look tomorrow.

ALSO MM.... this is very crucialy important stuff.....

Is there somewhere I can smoke? I dont drop my butts so I wont be littering and I promise I will only smoke in allowed areas :D If not I will apply a good layer of patches and hope for the best!

Hello!!

I am going to have a good look at my finances tomorrow - went to the CLA Gamefair this weekend and spent WAY more than i should have but if i can afford the trek from Cornwall i will be there with either Kensa or Ellie, 1 tent and a truck load of food/drink!!!

Will update you later in the week with the outcome! Really want to come. :)

I was going to bring some veggie sausages but I'm not a big eater.....you bring the burgers I'll bring the sausages :p

Quila is due a season and has started being odd so she may not be coming as Jack can get protective of her when she's in season but the grumpy old man will be present.

Damn internet still kicking me off constantly so will try and answer all questions before I go again.
Lml, don't for a minute think yours will be the only asbo there, don't worry. The only thing I would say is that whilst the field is pretty secure for larger dogs I think a little un could get out (stock fencing). Smoking not a problem, we will be in a field after all, as long as you don't go near my hay.;)
Scranny, typed out a reply to your pm with directions etc but comp crashed so not sure if it went. Will try again now.

As long as there is someone more exciting than me around then B wont go to great lengths for an escape:rolleyes::o I will of course stay away from hay, I understand how precious (and expensive!) it is! :)

I was worried about the possibility of short dog escape roots...then I remembered there was a BBQ so I will have no worries at all. The corgi's will be supervising all food at all times ;)

He might have to share with Tyson :D Yes have 2 possibly 3 spare kennels, I think as we have a few with attitude problems (including mine possibly:o) we may just have to be sensible and have a bit of a rota rather than a mad free for all. I am hoping the resident vet will be about but don't think she will want to be patching up dogs who have been scrapping. :p

Now lets not be hasty with these beasts, have some faith people;):p let there be a free for all.:p
