AAD BBQ

Gawd that cheese is horrible. I can get that if you want cos daughter likes it!
Cayla are you suggesting I live in chavsville , plan is for everyone to park in field, as long as it doesn't rain for next 48 hours, so dogs should be fine. Having spent most of the summer telling my dear son he and his teenage mates can't have a fire in the field I don't think I can really do it myself, and a chiminea is far too posh for me I'm afraid. Carpet isn't exactly clean, and it is mud brown, but if there are a lot of us we will probably need to go into my "posh" room and that is actually a dog free room, apart from on Christmas day!

Cayla it is in the middle of nowhere, cars won't be visible from the road. :) To be fair they will probably need some enforced rest time if they are hooning, plus it means everyone can be fed in peace.

I promise not to judge the state of the house, anyone entering mine leaves an inch taller on account of the hair stuck to their socks. :o

Lol, no probs.....we all go on about leaving mutts in car on here then we leave em in:eek:........ so thought I would look responsible and check:p
even if they where parked a mile away no one would get in mine :D:D
I wouls not have that many moots in me house either....or the people for that matter:rolleyes::D:p bsids its too small:o

No probs re fire, not everyone has an OH's that like building useless crap all over the place:o:D actually thats harsh, the chimnea is rather pretty and good for burning rubbish:D

We're planning to arrive between 4 & 4.30, assuming we don't get too lost & the dogs travel ok.

It's been a while since I've been camping but I'm happy to help put up tents for anyone who wants a hand. I've got one of those pop up jobbies to try as they were on sale locally & I didn't want Dylan to wreck the 'proper' tent. Now I'm more worried that OH will let the little puppy wreck the house whilst I'm away! Still, I'm looking forward to the peace & quiet. Terriers are full on - even at 8 weeks.

Catching up after away at retirement do and then wall to wall guests. So to recap I am bringing veggie burgers and cheesecake and lots of booze - anything else needed? Anyone need a folding chair brought? Not so concerned about Murphy's behaviour (though I may be being a bit complaisant there) more worried about how he smells. Keep washing his ears but he still pongs! At least he'll be outside though may need a clothes peg in the tent. Yes please Davisn may well need help with tent.

Bryony still proper hums ... he wont be alone :p

Well I hope you all have a wonderful time and remember you have dogs whilst you are having a good time:D.

i would have loved to have been there but will think of you whilst I am getting inebriated at the wedding. Have a safe journey there and back.

xx

I've just tested the air bed for leaks and it took a good 40 minutes to inflate, I hereby invite volunteers to man the foot pump. :p

I picked up another pack of plates and some paper napkins, heading down to the yard now to check if the folding chair is still in the barn. I have no idea how this is all going to fit in my car.

BC....I'll have room (I have a family sized car) so I can meet you at yours and put anything you don't have room for in my car?

BC, if you're struggling for room I might be able to help. I'm taking an extra chair & I could also pack a spare 2 man tent if you can't fit the huge one in - just let me know if you need it.

Thank you both for offering! :) I'm gonna go play Micra sardines in a minute and see if it'll all go in, I can't find the chair so that's one less thing to worry about. :p Worst comes to the worst Dax can ride up front with me and I'll pack everything in the crate, it's only a short journey for us.

Some mad bint with three greyhounds is bunking in with us so I need the big tent. :p

Annette, I'm at work until two tomorrow so won't be able to see you beforehand. :(

No problem.....will take her for a good walk beforehand ;)

I can't decide between camping or driving......I do only live up the road and I've had a hellish week with my back...but I feel left out going home!

I think I'm going to aim for closer to 4 than 5 in the hope it gives Quila chance to chill out. I'm still nervous about her snapping but anyone who catches her snapping at their dog has full permission to tell her off!

I am the least organised person ever. tomorrow I have to:
Find a sleeping bag (God knows where mine went :s), find a suitable bag (seriously who doesnt have a holdall??) work out how many layers I will need to sleep in and pack far too many clothes, go to the shop for nibbles / pop / cigs, do something to my hair in an attempt to look more human, go to my mams and chase B round untill Cayla picks us up.

Can you tell I have never been camping before? :o

Sometimes B need a bit of a telling off:cool: EVERYONE has full permission to have a good growl at B whenever they like... I can assure you she will be doing something naughty constantly:o

I dont know why any of you are worried about behaviour of your dogs, I am bringing 4 socially unacceptable dogs! I wont be relaxing much! LOL

I will bring my electric cattle prod;) and watch u frantically chasing your dogs, but Vizzy please dont let it distract you from your slave duties:rolleyes::p
I will hire u a leg of my chair:D:D

Lovely morning here, and forecast is good so fingers crossed. I have 2 very angry cats sitting next to me wondering why I won't let them out, they'll be even more impressed when the carriers come out and they head to the cattery. Evie is breakfasting in style in the garde on a rabbit she just caught , I forgot to mention we are over run with the damn things so any efficient rabbit catchers are doubly welcome. I'm off to work in a bit so any last minute queries please text me.

Is anyone else coming from down my way? .. OH isn't well, and, although potnetially I can drive myself and Tyson.. Its about a 3.5 hr drive on scary motorways and that scares me :(
