I more or less wrote my horse off in March due to wear and tear of muscles/ ligaments/ bones around the wither area (he had a kissing spine operation in June 2009).
Neither vet of physio could give me a definate answer weather he is was in pain or not, and what to do with him, however lately he is being very strange... he is behaving himself! The last few weeks he has been great. I even took him show jumping last week, and he was excellent despite not jumping a course in 11 months
Some pictures as evidence:
I know the jumps are tiny, but he did jump 2 double clears and win both classes. So pats all round!
p.s the photos are taken by my Mum using my camera
I am currently feeding him Naf Superflex and Global Herbs Alphabute, with is free from Devil's Claw and competition legal. He is on the lowest maintenance dose, but if I use this over the long term will he build up a resistance to it, and therefore will I need to increase the dosage? Is there any negatives of feeding it in the long term?
