Following as interested in feedback, sounds perfect for a nasty wound I’m currently treating - not sure he’d be happy with me spraying it on though ? it’s in a very sensitive area!

I looked at this when my 4yo injured himself. But for anything wound-y I always feel that I don't want to use anything that's been opened for a while. I used medical honey and a tube lasted 2 dressing changes so I was happy that I wasn't risking contamination with my potions no idea if that's the right judgement but it worked for me anyway ?‍

Maybe I sort of "made" something similar last year. My horse had a deepish cut on his leg and I put Manuka honey on it and then sprayed silver spray over it. Worked really well and wound healed great (wasn't in an area really suitable for a bandage or dressing).

No haven't seen that but it contains my two "go to's" for wounds so tempted. @milliepops I would think it's pretty airtight as can close off the opening by twisting thingymajig.

Sprays are usually more hygienic for repeated use than tubes, as nothing can get in to contaminate the contents

I’ve sachets of medical honey but I find it pretty tricky to apply to wounds and get to stay put. Seems to stick to everything but the wound and run down from melting from skin heat.

I guess I’m talking about uncovered wounds.

same issue with honey heal (redhorse) and that really runs down and stains fur too.

covered wounds I can add medical honey to the dressings.

if using alu or silver spray on a wound I’ve always assumed what is inside can is sterile when sprayed out
