For those of you who do not know my story five years ago after a riding acident I lost my leg above the knee, and ~Ebony and myself have both had to try and adapt to this.
Whilst walking a very short distance down the lane to the farm I heard a car speeding down the lane behind us, when he could not get past he kept reving his engine and blasting the horn whilst shouting for me to get out the way. Their was no way to go to allow him to pass so I kept walking to the farm entrance. I am unable to walk very fast and Ebony is very good and walks at my speed and will wait if she gets a little in front of me. He continued to move closer and then shouted Get out of way you F........ useless cripple, I was so scared as I thought he could run into Ebony, who was trying her best to fight her instinct to flee away and remained at my side. We reached the entrance and as quick as I could made sure she went in first, and he then roared off down the lane.
This has left me in shock, that someone could be so rude without knowing the full effect of what he has done to me. ~When I lost my leg I also lost my confidence, my self esteam, great job and my life. This with the help of my faithfull friend Ebony I thought we were getting there, I have had people in the past say horrid things and look and laugh. Each time I take it and pick myself up again and carry on, but each time it happens it gets harder and harder to pick yourself up and carry on.
Sorry to write such a depressing post, but just had to talk about it to people who understand and I hope do not judge me on what I am, just who I am.
Thanks for taking the time to read.
