Does anyone know of anywhere close to a beach for horses and riders with accommodation for a few nights holiday? Have found b&bs round the countryside but not near a beach? Fancy a holiday next summer :D
Thanks :)

The Northumberland beaches are fantastic for riding, there are quite a few that offer stabling and grazing, this is one of them:-http://www.hoseasons.co.uk/cottages/beach-cottage-e4516

If you like lincolnshire I would 100% recommend field farm, (Google them), they are a mile from the beach and also have a fantastic x country course, static caravans to stay in, or you can camp there

If you are near somerset, Ocean Lodge Holiday village in Brean is great. It has stabling and a sand paddock for the horses with everything you need apart from hard feed, and clean caravan accommodation for the humans. You go directly out of the paddock onto the beach, which is about 7 miles long.

Field Farm is superb, so well set up for horses and riders.

Canter Hallington is a lot further from the beach, a trailer ride of approx 30 mins. You hack to the beach from Field Farm.

There's somewhere around the Whitterings area that does, its called Whispering something, beach, sand, something seasidy! It comes up when you google it. The only downside I could see was you stay I'n the hotel, and the horses I'n stables, you can't camp or live I'n the box.

In Burnham Thorpe, North Norfolk. I went fo rthe day this year, and some others stayed for the weekend. They do B & B or camping, with grazing and stabling, and you are within easy hacking distance of Holkham Beach which is GLORIOUS and where the Household Cavalry horses holiday!

This. It's supposed to be a lovely friendly place. I think you can camp also :)

Yes you can camp there :) also caravan and horseboxes or b&b as well :)

IT is a 4 mile ride to the beach so dosnt take 20 minutes, we took 40 minutes but my pony and i ride very quickly and spent most of the time in canter. It rained hard the day i went which meant we kept cool and also meant the beach was empty so had it too ourselves.

Mill farm also give you another couple of nice rides you can do as well which are good.

Also very cheap to keep the horse there:
14 per day for stable and field including straw bedding
11 per day just field

also supply all muck out utensils
