Our grass was slow to grow this year due to not much rain but it has been no bad thing. Now it is growing my two (and half the yard!

) are on restricted grazing. Mine still have some chaff for their supplements - and my cob gets some hay at night as she really is in a starvation paddock due to lami last year. It actually works well as it means at least half their paddocks (more in my cobs case) gets rested and also means there is enough grass to see them through the winter. If they ever look like wasting away(

Maiden would think all her birthdays had come at once if she had as much grass as Ellie has!! No grass... pffft
