I have an ad on NewRider.Com for a sharer for my horse. Two people have enquired about him, so I have replied and given them my personal e-mail/mobile number so they can find out more. But they havent responded?

I know not everyone responds straight away, and they may have changed their mind, but can I be sure that the reply service works? Or should I add my mobile to the advert?

which one is your ad on the site? couldn't someone you know try it out for you

I would'nt give my phone number out...but when I have put adverts or responded to adverts I've always used my works accounts (better privacy) so would only respond during working hours so I'd give it another day then maybe send a message... also if you send anymore why not add "can you please respond to my reply regardless" or words to that effect...*i'm sure you could think of better*

Hey no probs...he really is a lovely lovely boy and I'm sure you will have no problems I know when I put my mare up for a sharer on Newrider it give you a chance to sort out the good and the bad without face to face upset and I also found a FAB sharer...so finger crossed

On the wording...

Maybe leave out that it is for financial difficulties (it is nearly always that or time pressure but the sharer won't want to think you're just after their cash!)

and...
put in something like 'sharer to do Mon/Weds/Sun' or 'days flexible' as appropriate.

Also 'he does jumping/flatwork/whatever to RC/novice/whatever level' and 'oportunity to compete' (if there is one) and 'no chores required' (if they aren't).

Can you tell I spent ages looking at ads before finding my lovely share?
