I need some help, my story is that I brought on a horse for a man as a project as other people had struggled and failed with him, I told him i couldn't afford to have my 2 in livery and a third one so he was to help out towards that and if he was to be sold i would have half of the money, any way I've had him for over a year and he had come on really well, he was far less nervous and trusted me, everyone had commented at what a good job i had done and how well he was looking. I had paid for all his shoeing, wormer, bedding, hay, chiropractor fees, saddle fitting and a second hand saddle for him, I thought of him as my own, the owner said i could do what i wanted with him. The horse had developed two huge splints one on each leg, they dont affect him they are just a bit unsightly, and only within the last few weeks the owner wanted to take him away to blister him, I viewed my opion that i was not happy with this, i think it is unessesary. Within the last week i've had to move house and move horses with me, my own 2 and the one i have beening doing. I had told the owner that i was moving i hadn't told him where cos at the time i had saw him i was uncertian where i was going to but i had to be out from the place i was in. In the mean time I had to turn the horses out in a field opposite where i had recently moved until i had found stabling for them in the new area. Tuesday of this week i had come home from work, went to see the horses out in the field for a check to find that the horse that i had been working had been taken, he was in a field with 4 others i knew he had not be stolen, but that the owner must of taken him. I felt sick, I tried to ring him but no answer, i spoke to a friend who knew him and they got hold of him gave them a piece of their mind and told him to ring me. He had taken the horse and had already taken him away that day to be blistered, understandably i kicked off, i was so upset and angry for what he had done, I've had no money off him for anything, and he said I wouldn't be getting him back, I've improved this horse so much, so now he will sell this horse for a lot more than what he bought him for, and i only found out the other day he bought for £100 from the knackers! where do i stand? can citizens advice do anything for me? He said if i wanted to buy him, he wanted £2000, i had done all the work and put money into him. Please any advise??
