No he's not mine, I don't have the facilities to separate him or a companion for him.This isn’t abnormal behaviour, it’s very normal for older geldings to beat the shit out of weanlings when not properly introduced.
Obviously some horses are just aggressive full stop, but I’ve even had kind older geldings try to go Road House with babies. They hate them.
If you keep him with the mare for a few weeks next to the gelding, they will most likely be ok. But if the gelding isn’t yours then just send it back.

His owner has been wonderful and will take him home at the weekend, I'm so relieved he'll be okay and I offered to cover her costs for the month +50% so it hopefully won't ruin her Christmas.
