Just wanted to ask in other peoples experience with owning horses,
(ive owned horses for 7 years or so but i know there are those of you out there that have owned horses for 20, 30 + years)
What would you say is the limit of the capabilities of a 15.2 Irish Draught X. Hes not the lean sporty type he has more of a hunters frame, currently jumping around 2ft9 well, schooling okay, can be quite strong but working on it. Hes 7 Years old. Very brave and never refuses anything.
I personally would like to do affiliated showjumping at some point, whether he would be up to that standard i dont really know, i would never sell him but if people would advice getting another horse to bring on for more serious competition then that is what i will look into
It seems a random question, i love my boy and would like to take him to his full potential, but i dont want to push him further past that if this makes any sense at all!!
Advice please
