I'd be interested to know what the farrier is planning to do, if you don't mind keeping me posted? The shoes that are on currently look good (support at the heel etc) so it just goes to show you can never quite tell what s going on inside
I'm really pleased that you have a definitive diagnosis though, and as you have caught it while she is still so young there should hopefully be no lasting damage
Those shoes were only put on on Friday prior to this she was barefoot behind and shod infront. She has only just been rebacked so in my eyes (and my farriers) there had been no reason to have shoes behind. Like you say just goes to show doesn't it.
