It's been all change here just lately so thought I should do an update all in one.

Last year, Freddy, one of the foster foals I reared from a fortnight old went off to his new home. A very precocious character, he's been broken, taken cubbing and is safe enough that he's the boy of choice for an older gent to go hacking with.

A month ago I sold the 3 year old by Ambrey Chester, Tonka who is going to be a dressage pony for a lightweight (really green with envy how lightweight she is!) adult who adores the very breath he breathes.
Then just this week I have sold Harry (the other foster boy) to become a showing and RC all rounder so it's the end of that era now. Although I love them all equally, Harry was the only one I cried over when he went banging and shouting down the lane, I felt worse than when I sent my son to school for the first time!
The same transporter fetched Tara back from Surrey for me. Tara is last years foal out of Alamo Lough and I hadn't seen her since last May as she went down with the mare to be covered by Simsar's lovely Spyder. Sadly she put up twins that couldn't be separated so had to be aborted but she's staying down there to try again this year. Tara was a bit smaller than I expected but in great condition and bless her seems to have settled in well. The only thing was that Dotty wanted to kill her while T looked on in sheer amazement at this teeth gnashing screaming banshee so she (D) had to be separated and just Kitty goes out with Tara for the time being. I'm hoping it's just D's hormones playing tricks as she is normally the friendliest of mares to others; just hope she doesn't act like that to her foal due early April! :(
Anyway, pics of Tara and Kitty taken yesterday; on the video you can hear the OH having a moan so sorry if there's a swear word or two and yes, that is sweat on Kitty, she was mighty upset that Dotty was taken out.

From those pics she doesn't look that small next to Kitty, have to say she was knowhere near the smallest here, but then we do have Orca who although named after a whale is the size of a minnow!
Kitty is looking great, and glad to see Tara has settled back in so well, but then with her ''balls'' it's no surprise. ;)
It was really strange going to field yesterday and not having T all over me, me trying to portion out the hay and her deciding which is the best pile!

Glad you are pleased to have her back speak soon :)

Lovely photos! They both look super and very happy - and what a nice place you have there.

Must have been hard to part with your youngsters, but sounds as though they are going to really nice homes.

How is the wonderful Queen Bea?

What a cracking pair. They look huge though

Nah, T's about 13 hands (dam is a good 16.1) and K is about 15.3 on tiptoes!

Very pleased to have her back, she's settled very well, speaks volumes for the way you've brought her up, thank you.:)

O, and if you did want to pop Tara into the post to me because she is too small or whatever that would be super :D

Nice try Jess! ;)

Thanks Kate.

The Queen Bea is very well; she's with a fencing client's mare, keeping her company while she's on field rest for a bit; she'll be back by April though.

BTW could you PM me your email please as I lost it when my machine went up the spout, just haven't got around asking before, sorry. :o

Jess, I'll smack your wrists for you. Don't ever say something is too nice for you, that's rubbish and putting yourself down and you should never do that let alone for my rag tag and bobtails although it was very nice of you to say so, but please don't do it again - ever.

Frieda is only a good 16.1 whith shoes on and when the hunt is coming through ;), I'm gonna put a stick on her tomorrow as I don't believe you :)

And come on Pat you know that she was a very good girl when she came to us from you, she just has a few more horsey manners after being out with our large motley crew.

Hey MFH, Good to see Tar's at home enjoying herself, missing her already. Sarah xxxxxxxxxxxxxx Thanks for sharing photo's and vid. :)

Ok, I'll rephrase. If she lived with me she'd look like an absolutely filthy, diabolical, camel-like thing. Nitty looks utterly disgraceful at the moment! I'd show you a picture but I'm too embarrassed. And BH doesn't exactly look much smarter and I've been seen on him in public recently  The lack of standards is shocking whereas yours look quite smart!

You obviously haven't looked at my lot lately then! Dotty is skewbald but has no white on her, it's just brown sludge; her mane looks like a two headed hedgehog having an argument too. The other two aren't much better, you can just about see their eyes through the mud and would I have it any other way? No, they're horses and they love their mud baths, why should I deny them that?
