The winter is upon us. My horses (and dog, come to think of it) are all going crazy. As if winter isn't painful enough do we really need all the extra fizz!!
Was going to ride the youngster last night, then thought better of it as it was bloody cold and couldn't bare putting my bum in that freezing cold saddle! So i lunged instead, and am i glad i did! She did plenty of gazelle impressions.

After i pushed my arms back into their sockets i lunged fae too, as bum was well and truly still cold. She insisted of running away from her shadow on the wall, and then kicked out at it multiple times, just for good measure. She also insists all jumps must be bucked over, and cleared by 3ft through the winter months. Frosty poles are easier to knock- apparently.
So, how are all your horses behaving? And how are your limbs feeling! Currently fearing for mine! Things we do for horses,eh
