I am on a yard recently converted to a 'natural horsemanship yard' - now whilst I have respect for people who wish to follow this , I am what they would class as a traditional 'english style' horse person and am getting increasingly annoyed by these people's lack of respect for my style of riding!
Yesterday just about topped it off when whilst two of us were already in the indoor school riding and two people came in with their horses on parelli long lines, firstly it was bad enough when they took up a good half of the school so we couldn't even ride on the track (but with gritted teeth I carried on)............ then............. one let her horse roll, not once, not twice but 3 times! They stood laughing!
I immediately left the school before I blew my top and said something I later regretted.
Now I think this is a) incredibly dangerous and b) showed total disregard for those of us riding. When confronted about the issued later those concerned could not see what the problem was.
Am I being unreasonable for getting really pee'd off about this??
