I got a lovely pair of Ariat Grasmeres from my parents for Christmas (2011), and was very upset to notice a couple of weeks ago that the seal between the sole and the leather upper had started to come apart on one of the boots just in front of the instep. I emailed Ariat through their website that evening and got a response, complete with Freepost label for me to print off, at 10 past 9 the following morning.

I posted my boots off on the Saturday with a note of my problem. They turned up again on Tuesday - so only 3 days later! - with a note saying that they had been re-sealed, with new boot trees in them and a bottle of leather conditioner for my troubles.

Very happy bunny, it's so rare (in my experience) to find customer service of that standard!
 
I had the same experience with Ariat I was soon pleased and as a result do favour their products now not just their boots :) was amazed how good the service was!
 
They replaced a pair of my Mudbusters when they split at the sole. The ones they sent me also split and then the ones my OH bought me split. Maybe their customer service has to be good because they know the quality of their goods isn't?

Have to say though, the Mudbusters were the comfiest wellies ever - but I won't ever buy them again after 3 pairs have split :(
 
They just (3 weeks ago) replaced my chocolate Bromonts. I sent them back as the leather seemed to be wearing abnormally. The whole process took less than a week, so very good customer service.

I enquired as to what they found wrong with my boots and they replied that they had found nothing particular, but thought that the sandy conditions (!! Don't know where they got that from, no sand around here) I had been wearing them in had probably worn the leather, but as a customer service gesture, they replaced them for me. Quite chuffed as something was defo amiss with them and at £250 a pop, wasn't terribly pleased that they looked like c*** every time I wore them.
