No, the OP did not reply, but a new poster said he/she knew all the gossip, just to irritate us all! It was the trainer/bully thread, and should OP give up riding....
 
It didn't seem that bad to me, and I am one of the first to say when people are being bullies - didn't see any of that at all. Lately it was more a discussion on how we spend too long on the forum! So I guess it probably would be OP that pulled it, which makes it even more interesting! I wonder if there was more truth in Gobsmacked's post! To me it was a thread of stereotypes - a bossy rude celeb trainer, a gossipy livery and a possibly over sensitive person. Typical horse world!

Someone new joined the thread and started making out the OP wasn't being truthful. No massive drama or real names mentioned though so I can't see why it was pulled either. Annoying. :mad:
 
Basically a new poster arrived saying they knew the story and it wasn't quite the story the OP had told. AND that the pictures posted were not her or her horse. I hadn't commented until then, where some of us had a discussion about taking things at face value, and where you draw the line etc etc...there were a few daft comments thrown in, then another new poster arrived saying they knew all the gossip, just to irritate us.

And no...there was no bullying involved, just people asking questions!

I don't usually get bothered over things like this, BUT when people bend over backwards to offer help, advice and a friendly shoulder, and it's not quite as true as it is said, then I might get a little irked on their behalf. :D

BUT still...it's only a forum!

I do know the truth and Gobsmaked is mostly correct. The yard is a big yard and its great, its the longest I have stayed anywhere. Most of the Liveries are professional people (not horses) we all rub along well. There are just some people in this life who just rub people up the wrong way, and the liveries will only take so much.

As for the trainer, that person is a great trainer but tells you how it is, not rudely. It has been blown out of all proportion I believe the OP genuinely feels aggrieved and upset, however it is a bit of tall tail, and grossely exaggerated.

What OP hasnt said is that the friend who then took her second horse and OP's lesson, did not pinch her lesson and actually had to pay for it.

I do not work at the yard or the trainer so I have no financial gain. I just like the truth to be told.
 
I think an explanation is needed....I am worried that the OP is now going through some sort of yard hell! or the whole thing is a lie....but I just cannot see it....she had been on here ages and lots of normal posts!

I am concerned that Gobsmacked and this new poster Masetto have somehow found out about this thread and are giving the OP a hard time....I currently feel very sorry for her....I hope I am not just being naive.

Masetto be very wary of starting this up again if it was pulled - you will end up with an infraction..

For what its worth, I reckon the two posters are probably right. I've known threads before that I know when the OP is not telling the whole truth, but I think they think they are! I wouldn't come on and "out" them though unless they were doing harm.

I am not sure why you would think that I would give her a hard time? The fact that I came onto this forum to give the other side of what goes on at the yard, does not mean that I give her a hard time!! I tend to leave her alone and get on with doing my own thing.
 
Yes me too DS...I feel like there are a couple of people trying to have a laugh at everyones expense...if you have something to say then say it and stop wasting everyones time....I think I will go and read some other posts....this one has really p*ssed me off now!

it says ....I am concerned!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am having to use guesswork as no-one has actually given much information.
 
Setting the record straight,...although the original post was not defamatory in any way, HHO removed it. HHO also blocked my access for several weeks, so I had no idea what was going on in the forums. That's why I didn't respond - I couldn't get access!!! I couldn't even access them to read what was going on.

From what I understand there were some viscious, poisonous and untrue accusations by a couple of new people who had just registered on HHO. These were Masetto and Gobsmacked.
Masetto is someone at my previous yard. She was not there when the bad-trainer incident happened. She did not witness it, nor does she know at all first-hand what went on. So, her claims to know the "truth" are false. In the true sense of the word, she is a "Troll" of the internet variety.
Masetto feeds off of gossip, and funnily enough, play-acted as though she was a friend for the past year. However, others at the yard recently told me about her true nature, and explained to me that she had been backstabbing (along with other liveries) for the past year. She is vile and untrustworthy to say the least.

User "Gobsmacked" - I am assuming this is the rude trainer in question.

As for comments that my horse & I are not the ones in the photos - please, I invite you all to pop down to the The New Forest for a visit or come around to meet me and my horse at a show sometime.

Sincere thanks to the other users out there who saw sense in the madness, and recognised that the vile comments that were posted - were done by these brand new users to the forum - and you rightly questioned their authenticity. Many thanks also to those of you who wrote very supportive emails to me - I've only been able to read them today!
Parker79 is especially lovely, and since she is local, we are going to meet up for a coffee...she's also been invited to visit me and my horse to make sure it's us ;) :) Thank you all for your concern. It was a rough time.

I moved yards, thank goodness, about 2 weeks ago. Onwards and upwards. Thankfully there aren't any vile backstabbers at my new place :)
I guess the bad behavior stems from their insecurity, jealousy, and petty lives that they have nothing better to do with their time than gossip and cause hurt to others.
Masetto in particular badmouths everyone on the yard. There is another livery that she pretends to be best friends with, yet she backstabs her as well. The two of them do it to each other. These two also criticise and backstab the yard manager and staff and ALL other liveries. So, before you believe any poison that is uttered by Masetto and co, be wary that these are not honest people that you'd want to be within a mile of.
