Andes Stallion-anyone have any offspring??

I broke in a 3yo by him last year. The gelding was big strong, very easy to break although a woman could not break him in before I got him. He was out of an advanced eventing mare. Paces were nice enough for his age. He was a bugger in the stable tho..

I've only known one, a foal on an evil witch of a mare. Foal was very big, full of his own importance and incredibly stunning to look at, movement not bad at all but hated being told what to do, would have a real paddy at times even just asking him to move over in the stable. He had been handled, was friendly but just had a moody temperament which wouldn't have been helped by the mare. Always wondered how he'd turn out and L's description above is spot on, in fact it could have been him as he was out of an advanced mare too! His temperament put me off using the stallion as he had been on my list for Bea.

Hi We bred two full brothers by Andes out of a Looking Glass event mare. They are a bit like chalk and cheese but both quiet super, athletic and very willing. Would absolutely recommend Andes and would use again, if he was still around.

Sadly he is not still around but is still available by frozen.

I have a mare by Andes. She was a champion show foal, she is big, strong, lovely paces and absolutely loves to work.

She was very moody to handle when I first got her, but she has improved lots and now barely ever pulls faces! She is 9 now so I don't know her full history, but she has improved very quickly.

There are some pictures of her in my gallery.

I would recommend him if you want a big strong talented horse, and you have the patience and knowledge to handle a character!

We have a mare here who was backed and competed lightly then we have used as a broodmare. She graded into the Head Stud Book with the Sport Horse (GB) She was one of the easiest we have ever backed, the first time on the lunge she looked like she had done it every day!!!!! and is trainable and polite. She also jumped for fun.
