You can deactivate it for a specific browser, so keep one browser with JavaScript deactivated for HHO et al, and another with JavaScript enabled for most other sites. I use Safari and Chrome on my iPad.

It's a PITA for trying to navigate the forum on a mobile. The ad takes up 2/3 of the screen and it travels down as you scroll, so it's essentially unusable.

Definitely not bothering with the film, not that it's my thing anyway.

I installed one of the ad blockers suggested up thread. Worked perfectly yesterday, but today the damn ad is back! Yes, it is switched on!
