I had the same experience, woke up one day to find a foal scampering around the field - i did have pre-knowledge mum as broodmare birthed well on her own outside so didnt have to box her and experience sleepless foal watch nights! The utter delight to see the foal that morning had me wooing and cooing like a mother hen…they’re so damn cute!

We really would love to be bombarded with foal pics too…dont hold back! 😂😍
 
Oh my goodness! Those lugs!!!! (Orcadian for ears. But they are lugs through and through!!) I love him!

Cappuccino

'Cappuccino' comes from Latin Caputium, later borrowed in German/Austrian and modified into Kapuziner. It is the diminutive form of cappuccio in Italian, meaning "hood" or something that covers the head, thus cappuccino literally means "small capuchin".
 
A Medicine Hat!

For those that dont know

Medicine Hat Horse: A horse in First Nations tradition and legend that is believed to have a magical ability to protect her rider from injury and death. Native American legends say that Medicine Hat horses were believed to have the magical ability to protect their riders from injury and death in battle. Additionally, they were said to warn their riders of danger. Other tribes would try to steal these horses in hopes of getting their good luck.
