Another fatal dog attack

Our local neighbourhood website is appealing for a foster home for a poor dog abandoned a few weeks ago outside a vet. She was pitifully thin and weak but I was unconvinced she was a staffy as suggested when she was first shown.

Now shes put a good amount of weight on and is about half what she should be apparently, so can be rehomed to foster care. She is about a year old. She looks very much like an XLB to me or maybe a mastiff x bull breed?? of some sort. Shes enormously tall and if doubled her weight would be a very big built dog.
The photos show a very aloof looking dog and a hard stare. Who in their right mind is going to take this dog? I also feel if suspected XL they are breaking the law. They say shes staffy x. Shes not! But apparently she is a "fur baby looking for a furever home😍"🤬🤬🤬🤬
Oh hell's teeth - here we go again, potentially  Good point @misst about this rehoming being illegal. Calling anything a staffy cross is just an excuse.

I took on a dog walking client who said his dog was a rottie cross, when I met him he said the DNA test said pitbull x rott! The dog was actually really nice just very enthusiastic and still only 6 months old. The owner said he wasn't classed as an XL as he wasn't big enough, again only 6 months old at this point and when fully grown I absolutely think he will be. The dog calmed dog a lot in the house with me and his walking improved lots, he really was trying to be a good boy but there was a couple of occasions where he saw something or someone in the distance and pulled to the end of the lead and then up on his back legs. I told the owner without a muzzle on I wasn't willing to continue walking him in case that happened again and he took it further. Owner was very unimpressed and stopped my service. I can't believe someone with a dog that size and strength would object to a muzzle just in case but there you go.
