Totally agree with Pedantic. Why hog? But, leaving that aside, I don't think it would suit your horse. It can look smart on 'sharp' cobs but she isn't that type, from your photos.
I speak from experience. My 'sharp' cob came hogged. The flies drove her mad, she had no protection, and I had nothing to hang on to. It took two years to grow her mane out. It's beautiful now. She's a mahogany bay with black points, and the mane and tail are quality hair, like a TB. Why the dealership she came from hogged her I don't know. She has much more presence now. So, I'm definitely on the No Hog side.
