Ive always wondered if the inland rev or general tax world require that their staff are already arseholes or the working in such a mind numbing ambience turns the staff into arseholes!!
Clarify please Princess.

I'm not really sure which came first, I've always been an opinionated pain in the arse so maybe that's why I was attracted to the tax world...fwiw I don't work for HMRC so don't worry I'm not one of those really annoying people you have to speak to at a call centre when you have NIC issues, I work in financial services tax...basically I'm a pain in the arse that gets paid too much! God I hate my life
Just yesterday in the stands at a show I told a parent their little boy was ugly, noisy and smelled. And if he didn't shut up that instant, I'd push him off the stands.
Actually, I didn't. Just because one has the RIGHT to speak their mind, doesn't mean it's always the correct or wise thing to do

I maybe wouldn't have said it to the woman's face...just like I would never tell an owner their horse was ugly...it's another thing to say it behind their back though
As for the whining child I think I would have given it a look until it was so scared it stopped crying, I've been told I'm rather good at that look
That's a brilliant likeness, I am sure they will be thrilled with it.
What an amazing talent you have PF.
I always think that nasty, spiteful coments like the 'ugly' jibe normally come from very sad, shallow individuals. What a shame that this nice thread had to be spoiled by one thoughtless comment.
I think he is a lovely boy who will live out the rest of his life with the best of care from Mairi. Imagine looking out of your window and seeing a horse of his calibre in your field.

Oh so your freedom of speech only occurs when you can hide behind a computer screen not when you'd be likely to get a smack in the mouth for it

Er no what I was saying is that I would never directly tell someone their child/horse/dog is ugly. However if someone showed me apicture of someone elses child/dog/horse I would happily tell them I thought it was ugly...kinda different.
I'm not scared of a smack in the mouth, tbh I'd like to see them try
Mairi - has he put on condition now?? I remember the original piccy's you posted of him with his loooooong legs - I think he is lovely!! Sneak him a hug and carrot from me!!
