Another question on sheepskin half pads

Following on from my other post have saddler booked and bought a half pad. Saddle is 17inch and size medium according to guide should fit.

Should the saddle fit inside the rolled edge on just on top with a bit of rim alround. The saddle sits on top instead of inside so not sure whether to get a bigger one. Really want to get before saddler comes out (next week) so she can fit together.

Normally they sit inside and you can see the rolled edge around the outside

Yep, agreed. I like to have lots of room inside the rolled edge so the saddle isn't sitting on the seam.

Definitely inside the trim, you'll get pressure points if the saddle sits on part of the trim. I'd exchange it

Is it the wool collars type or when you say rolled edge are you talking about the binding?
