I have posted a few times about feeding raw to my rotties ( not truly following BARF ) and I now have another question - sorry!
I understand that cereal and raw meat should not be fed together due to the digestion rate, and that the slow digestion of the cereal holds the meat in the system longer than it should be and can lead to problems.
My question is is this the same with fish? For example cooked white fish and mackerel/sardines from tins.
I can't get my dogs to eat any form of veg and I have found a biscuit which is supposed to be very a very natural herbage source. I know cereal for dogs isn't necessary but I have a few reasons for wanting to feed it and they won't eat it on it's own.
If I can't feed it with their meat do you think they can digest it ok with their fish twice a week?
Thank you
