another really sad advert :(

How hard would it be for the owner to have put something more positive in about the horse to let potential buyers know more about his good points? If the best they can say is that the horse will go for meat, then it could be that the horse has underlying issues or doesn't have any redeeming features that make a decent advert! Are they trying to put people off?

I did a bit more digging, this is the sellers Twitter page - https://twitter.com/HollysHorses

And if you click the link to their website 'http://www.hollyshorses.co.uk/' it actually takes you back to Waverley Sports Horses.

Is the chestnut tb that she sent you a picture of on their site???

Yes looks like the same horse (3 white socks and the distictive face marking)

He is an ex racer, I think he has been for sale for quite a while now
TBH for such a small amount of money I would be happy to risk buying him out right and blind!

Have just had a response from Preloved advising that they have contacted the member regarding the advert.......

I have no idea what this means for the horse or the seller :(

What a wonderful, inspiring owner! Hope when he/she is no longer useful for a period of time that they get treated in the same caring fashion.................

It is taking all my self control not to tell this person what I really think! maybe if I do manage to save this poor boy then I will! (once he is safely loaded of course!)
