heya peeps
im looking for a boxer puppy (bitch) to help out my other dog (cavalier) she has gone deaf and although is great with signals she has to be looking at me when i do them. she is mobile and running around fine which is half the problem as she doesnt hear me call her back. i cant run after her as she thinks its a game so have to wait till she looks back and gesture. hoping she will pal up with new dog and stay close comming back with it when i call.

ok maby i really fancy having a pup anyway hee hee

i grew up with boxers my grandperants had them and love there personality. also they are high energy so can come out with me hacking thus also keeping my little girl close

so any out there

5 * home awaits

heya yeah been searching for ages would have loved to have a rescue but must be young and small to start with as i already have my cavalier and dont want her bullied this prob sounds very silly but just think it is the right thing to do

if you go to a rescue for a young boxer, they will have assessed if the dog will get on with other dogs - and you would get to "meet up" a couple of times to see how your dog gets on with the other dog as well - can't speak for all rescues but the ones I have been involved with did all the checks/meetings - and then we would have a final probation period to ensure that the dog really settled - 3 weeks in all cases which was plenty of time to ensure that all were happy together. My friend hung on for a rescue doberman bitch to keep her older doberman boy company and they did finally find her one - and she was very specific as to what kind of dog she wanted to get on with her OTT boy! (spayed before anyone asks btw!)

If you want to get a puppy from a breeder you need to look for breeders that health TEST!

They should ask more questions about you than you ask about them.
The parents should have some kind of title in something.
The breeder should have a good return policy and a health guarantee.

You should expect to pay upwards of £600 for a responsibly bred boxer.

You should contact someone in the boxer club.
