Hey guys, my pony gets lots of dandruff at the top of his tail (around the dock) so when I wash it I scrub really hard to get most of the dandruff out, and it works (to an extent
). He doesn't have very sensitive skin so I can usually use whichever shampoo I want. Normally I just use your bog standard horse shampoo but I was wondering if any of you have ever seen or used any horse shampoos that are anti-dandruff?
I know Carr &day & martin do an medicated shampoo, do you thick that would do the job? Or else someone's said to me about using a horse tea tree shampoo- would this work for dandruff?
Of course I'll do a test patch first so I'm quite happy to use a human anti dandruff like head & shoulders....any experience with human anti dandruff shampoos on horses- if so which one did you use?
Thanks xx
