does anyone else find having horses has made them antisocial?!! any spare time I have is spent with them and I don't like late nights as then it's harder to get up in the morning to go for a ride! on top of work I am also doing a distance learning degree, so have no free time.
my idea of socialising is going on a hack with my friend! or chatting at the yard at feed time. bit of a pointless post, but I cant help but feel like a social recluse compared to my non-horsey friends, all their photos are of nights out and mine are of my horses! but even if my friend offers to do my horses one evening or morning I would still rather do them myself.
thing is I think I'm quite happy being like this, but my (completely non-horsey) mum always makes comments asking about when I last went out with people, other than my boyfriend. I just wondered if anyone else with horses actually has a social life or feels they miss out on things because of their horses?
