I'm looking for ways to get white socks clean without bathing for Pony club, I useually just use talc and chalk, but just doesn't cover the stains that have accumulated all winter. I don't mind rinsing when i get home, but no time to bath and dry before going on a saturday morning! I'm looking for ideas on a budget!
Google shows lots of people using baby powder / cornstarch with zinc oxide mixed to a paste and rubbed onto damp socks and then bandaged over, then brushed out when dry, has anyone tried this, does it work?
I looked for some to buy on internet and it seems quite expensive, so thought about buying cornstarch or talc and mixing my own with zinc oxide from ebay, anyone tried this?
