My mare has been out of sorts for a while now (about a year!) and has had various saddle problems but those are fixed now and she's still not right. She's developed more ailments as time has gone on.
She's still uncomfortable being ridden (esp when trying to get her to work correctly where she head tosses) even though I'm riding bareback (should there be any saddle issues, such as pain memory). She's a bit more (used to poop a couple of times when I'd been riding, this has more than doubled) there a wee bit more sloppy, but not much. She's also very grumpy and has gone through phases where she wont catch. Also, she wont let you touch her belly with out kicking out, also very uncomfortable for her to have her roller girthed up. (Her belly has also been making some crazy noises)
I'm thinking that there is some sort of gut problem, maybe ulcers or something not as severe. She's been on pink powder for about a week and it's helped her bloating a bit, but nit much.
The vet is coming on Monday as it's just not something that's going to "pass" I don't think, plus she's getting more and more uncomfy, I just wondered if you wonderful, knowledgeable people of HHO had any ideas what might be up?
Thanks, Emma x
