As title really, i never seem to be able to get it all off neatly through fear of catching the loose skin. Any tips? My girl is really narrow in between the front legs which makes it even more difficult.
yeah I tend to run trimmers over the narrow ones, if the horse is quiet then I crouch in front of the chest and run the trimmers towards me. you don't particularly have to worry about any folds around the tops of the legs then either because trimmer blades are much more forgiving to awkward places IME.Trimmers!
I had one who was very narrow and trimmers worked well
I put the horses foreleg forward and hold it in between my knees then do it
Exactly what I have just done, but wasn't going to admit it , health and safety and all that !
If I sat underneath the horse to clip, the horses wouldn’t mind, but I’d never be able to winch myself back off the floor again .
