Call me scrooge, bah humbug etc. but these past few days have been ridiculous - people everywhere, argh!!!

Nice quiet ride this morning - nope, National Trust car parks full to overflowing, people parking on the verges of the single track road, usually bombproof ASBO cob choosing today to pitch a fit at every blowing leaf never mind the ridiculously parked cars. Finally get onto the bridleway only to find everyone who got a mountain bike for Christmas wobbling about everywhere. :o

Take the dogs out for a walk in the afternoon - dog crap EVERYWHERE, every footpath within half a mile of the town absolutely covered in it (I'm not militant about picking up in certain areas so long as it's flicked well off the path, shoot me now, but leaving big soft orange piles in the middle of a narrow path?). Everywhere there are dogs that don't get a walk at any other time of year - so many that even R gave up reacting to them (yay :o).

We saw no less than three different yellow lab pups, each small enough to have been a Christmas present, one on the ground wearing a teeny tiny no-pull harness. Also met four 'have you seen my dog?'s, (three spaniels :p and one beagle) and three more mountain bikers on the footpath.

I can usually go days without seeing another person out on walks and rides, these past few days have done my head in.

Yep, one baby choc lab about nine weeks tied outside a shop alone by a chain lead lunging and choking and trying to escape, one five month old yellow lab going jogging with his owner at a gallop (hello Hip Dysplasia!), one yellow lab pup being allowed to gallop up to Mr 'GO AWAY!!! and leave me alone' Dog, one baby husky pup being dragged to the shops, and my bike tyres covered in orange Bakers-stylee poop, oh joy!!!

Yup, out of the way tiny car park covered in cars I've never seen before, dogs I've never seen in all the time I've had dogs wandering round. Wish they'd all bugger off and let me be hauled round in peace!

I met a "have you seen my dog" when I was out earlier....

Nearly wet myself laughing as about 50m behind the bloke, hidden in the grass, was his errant collie, doing a damn fine commando crawl behind him. I swear to god as I pointed to it, it ducked out of sight :D

As numpty as folk may be - at least their dogs are actually getting a walk, far too many were cooped up round here last year because of the weather

Yes its doing my nut in too, hoards of them on my nice quiet peopleless dogless walks, all with screaming kids in tow  I havnt met any have you seen my dogs but have had 3 knocks on door (obviously I am mad dog lady and therefore am responsible for any dog within a 5 mile radius ) with 'do you know this dog, we found it?!'
It only really makes me cross as I suddenly realise how many of these dogs I have never seen before, I have seen several people out that I recognised as neighbours, I have lived here ages and didnt even know they had dogs!

Had a 'have you seen husband And dog' earlier.... When we did see said husband a few mins later and mentioned wife and child trying to find him, his response... 'oh well!!' Love it!!

Oh what happy people you must be to meet!

I'm extremely sociable when walking and made a mad dash to the second car park so we could talk to the old dear who fancies my OH (or so she told me!). She's 80!

It just pees me off that the poor ruddy dogs I saw today must only get walked rarely if I've never seen them before. People park haphazardly and selfishly, I squeeze into a tiny space so as to leave room for others, I scrape my paint work in an effort to give people more room to pass on the lane, but they don't care and see us yet ignore us then wander across the road at length and make us wait unnecessarily.

Yeah, I can come across as annoyed. Funny, that.

I too have seen lots of new puppies. However my little man is 10weeks but got his next jab tomorrow so won't be out til the new year. Where he most definately won't be tied out side a shop alone or allowed to gallop! We will prob only go 500yards as he will be so excited. Attempting to lead walk in garden isn't working...a lab he just wants it in his mouth!!

God yes the amount of dogs has been unbearable!! They are still out today- best so far man with collie, sees Dex looking and trying to drag me over, me doing watch yadda yadda- so throws frisbee in my direction which lands about 4 inches from Dex's arse...... and then obviously we have the collie that close- "thankyou" I yelled through gritted teeth!!

And the pooooooooooooooo ugh!
