Call me scrooge, bah humbug etc. but these past few days have been ridiculous - people everywhere, argh!!!

Nice quiet ride this morning - nope, National Trust car parks full to overflowing, people parking on the verges of the single track road, usually bombproof ASBO cob choosing today to pitch a fit at every blowing leaf never mind the ridiculously parked cars. Finally get onto the bridleway only to find everyone who got a mountain bike for Christmas wobbling about everywhere.
Take the dogs out for a walk in the afternoon - dog crap EVERYWHERE, every footpath within half a mile of the town absolutely covered in it (I'm not militant about picking up in certain areas so long as it's flicked well off the path, shoot me now, but leaving big soft orange piles in the middle of a narrow path?
). Everywhere there are dogs that don't get a walk at any other time of year - so many that even R gave up reacting to them (yay
).
We saw no less than three different yellow lab pups, each small enough to have been a Christmas present, one on the ground wearing a teeny tiny no-pull harness.
Also met four 'have you seen my dog?'s, (three spaniels
and one beagle) and three more mountain bikers on the footpath.
I can usually go days without seeing another person out on walks and rides, these past few days have done my head in.
