Anyone else jealous of those with only one horse

I'm in the process of looking for my second... but to be fair, Connie is retired and will never do more than a poddle round the fields... so i am seriously missing having one to ride! So yes, I am jealous of those with only one horse (if they can ride it) and more so of those thta have a choice of horses to ride! :D

i said id never have two... i now have two. I am seeking a third next year, depending on how this brat thing ive just bought turns out....as shes going to be a short arse 14.2 (and im 5'7)!!!

i need s stocky 14.2 or a big lanky 16hh!

So yes...2 becomes 3..............3 becomes 4 etc :D

Fine until your one and only horse 'breaks' ;)

Worse when you have two that "break" ;)

Yes, I am jealous - mainly of the time - I struggle with 2 especially as one or both seem to be on box rest most of the time  There are a few at my yard who have 2/3 horses, but they all have someone to help (mother/daughter shares or very helpful OH's), and I find it hard.

Once my old boy goes, I won't be having 2 horses again.

Not as such but i have just been sent to do a week in Lisbon for my work and I am loving it. I don't have to get up before 6 and force medication down a geriatric that would realy rather be uncomfortable than swallow, explain to B2 why broncing with mummy before work is less funny than doing it at a weekend or to B1 why we have to keep practicing the schooling she already knows and no we can't hack or jump every day of the week as I do not have time. I also have time to *gasp* wash my hair before work!

I am therefore jealous of those who can afford livery when they fancy a lie in! And those whose horse/s don't need working everyday to stop them from freaking out (goodness knows what I will go home to as B2 has had 4 whole days being a horse in a field and will probably have a malfunction when I get on him at the weekend!) oh and those who live soemwhere where it doesn't RAIN all the blooming time!
