Sat watching Badminton XC and I cant believe all the whoopsidents that are happening! I am literally gritting my teeth and cringing. Anyone the same?

Some terrible lines being ridden, very disappointing. Think course just a notch too complicated, no true let up, beyond the capabilities of most of the horses. Not how it should be imho

Not cringing at all - it's been a tough 4* test with frangible pins taking the brunt. It's been more stops and run outs than horrible horse falls.

Yes, cringing at the majority of the rounds - why so many horses dragging their back end over the jumps? and jumping/being ridden over the wide part of those triangular thingies....can't understand what's going wrong but so many shambolic rounds today??

It's definitely been an interesting one this year. Huge shake up on last nights scores based on today.

I am multitasking and feel like every time I look up someone else falls off or has a run out.

I'm enjoying Tina Cook's input on the commentary though.

Who had the rotational a little while ago? They haven't mentioned it since and someone on FB said they thought the horse's neck looked 'funny'. Hope it's ok. Anyone know?

Just wondering that myself - non horsey OH said 'what's wrong with the horse ?' after that one. What on earth is going on today !

When Pippa Funnel approached, there was a horse trailer in the background. Definitely no screens or heavy vet presence. Fingers crossed he was loaded in there ready to go back.
