Just curious really as he's never been anything but polite (although some might argue that invading space isn't that polite!). Have had my gelding 14 years and he's just turned 17 and he loves doing inhand/groundwork. Sometimes, well most times now, just a bit too much really
He's always been a bit of a space invader but never anything agressive, just likes to constantly push boundaries and he was taught the rules from the get-go - but he always likes to give it a try!
The more groundwork he does the more 'stimulating' he finds it all - heavy breathing, trying to get as close as possible and then his fifth leg makes a healthy appearance and bobs around for the duration of the session. It's not just out and about getting an airing, it's at proper full mast.
Should just say that none of his behaviour worries me as we've been through quite a bit together and I wouldn't change him for the world, nor am I particularly looking for advice. He has also never shown any inclination to cover a mare (although he does appreciate a fine mare or two lol).
Are there any other geldings out there who appear to have found their virtual dangly bits when it comes to inhand/groundwork?
