Pidge

Went to get Pidge in last night and let them into the next field (currently empty) so I could put the hay out in peace and he went skits! Got the headcollar on Sunny ok and Pidge charged us from the other side of the field broncing for all he was worth
Sis arrived in time to grab Sunny and take him in and I then spent the next 10 minutes watching Pidge gallop round the field broncing! wouldn't have been too bad but had a lesson at 6.30pm and he didn't stop galloping until 6.10pm
Needless to say he was steaming when I got him in so chucked his cooler on, flicked him over and chucked his tack on
However we then had one of the best lessons ever
spent a lot of time in canter and it was nice and soft and straight, even on the left rein which is very much work in progress
So can only assume he works better when totally warmed up!
