Just wondered if there is somthing in the air? Both Oscar and my friend mare have been off colour for 2 days now.

Still eating fine and looking well just not themselves, both sound and no cold symptoms.

Dont know if its the cold weather.... although its not cold atm it has been raining heavy and realllly windy, he wasnt warm enough tonite so i have put an extra rug on and he did look a little happier.

Still galloped off up the field this morning and rolled as soon as he could!!

Is it just our two? Or anyone else?

I hate it when he isnt right. Hopefully he will look brighter tomorrow. :)

Mine is standing in a freezing cold field , warm as toast and eating haylage like there's no tommorrow. She did break off for her "feed" and then wiped her face on me before going back in. So no she's not under the weather but I've always though that rain and wind is the worst weather for getting them down. Snow and ice just means no riding and hand delived meals!!

Two of mine are just like this! They're eating and have no symptoms of any illness, but they are just not themselves.

They almost seem like they are tired, they are very very quiet. But they go galloping off in the morning and still mess around in the field.

Theyre both very quiet to ride as well, one of them is usually bouncing off the walls, but she's quietened down and the other one is almost verging on lazy!

But theyre working fine and not sweating up horribly or anything like that.

Im not sure what's going on?

think mine is. He's eating and drinking fine, showing no ill signs at all. Yet is almost too quiet and no real interest in turnout. Been yawning a lot lately too. However when ridden, once he gets going he's fine :D He had Equine Touch today so that may pick him up a bit.

mine was like this last week but seems ok now. Got the vet to check her over when she had her jabs but she couldnt find anything wrong. eating, drinking, pooing normal just really quiet and no oomph. She did come out in hives this morning though but can only assume she got too hot so is now in a LW stable rug!

Mine is a little blue too. Nothing out of the ordinary but just a bit sedate and not really "there.." Has a bit of a blip like this most years.

Hopefully he'll pick up soon, dont like it when he's like this!!
