Well put.
I don't believe the horse knows the difference, it's just conditioned to follow instruction. I don't believe it's thinking, "This is so degrading, if only I was a dressage horse...".
Haha! I can just imagine him watching dressage and sighing, perhaps trying a bit of extended trot when he gets a moment alone XD
