I'd love to book a lesson but they aren't cheap so just wondering what you got out of it, what's her teaching style, is she a hard task master etc. She seems lovely and I'd love to book with her but just need to find out what I'd get out of it and to hear other people's experiences before forking out

It's been a while since I rode with her, but she's fantastic and if her local clinics weren't in the middle of the week (I have to rely on others for transport), I would 100% ride with her again. She's very funny, and she'll push you out of your comfort zone but she's fair....she'll make you work hard but laugh at the same time! My trainer worked with her for years and still rides with her for tune-ups, so I get a lot of her knowledge second hand, and we've gone from competing novice to schooling PSG in a few years.

Do go for it if you get the opportunity, I'm very jealous!

As an aside, I think she's officially back to Anna Ross these days...

I had a lesson years ago with her purely by chance. She'd come to teach a number of people at the yard I kept my loan horse on a number of years ago and one of the people she was meant to teach cancelled last minute so I was asked if I'd like to take her place

I probably wasn't her usual clients (young and had a scruffy ID) but she didn't treat me differently and I had one of the most informative lessons I have ever had.

I wouldnt let price put you off. I've never had a lesson from her, but I had a lesson from someone else who others at the yard said was too expensive and they wouldnt like to pay so much for a lesson. By the end of mine, I had improved so much a lot of people were wishing they had actually paid for one. I never care how much a lesson costs as long as I learn something from it. Go for it and see what she is like. :)
