Now that I have got myself another job following my redundancy (YAY!!!!
) I have wasted no time at all getting myself over to the local trailer dealership to look at trailers lol! At last I can spend some of my redundancy pennies!
Anyway, have decided to stick with my volvo estate for the time being and as such I need a lightweight trailer. The guy who showed me round was really helpful and although I thought initially I would be best off with a Bateson, it looks as though actually the Cheval Libertes might be better and given I will only ever be towing one horse, the single or mare and foal trailer is looking like the best option.
The single one in particlar seems to have a decent amount of room, rear/front unload and it is only 550kg. And it doesn't look odd like some single trailers. Reasonably priced and smart too.
Has anyone got one or used one? Any downsides to consider (other than the one horse bit and the fact it would be harder to sell on than a double)???
