Due to the unmitigated failure of my last thread, I am trying again! Has anyone heard of Dianne Jenkins and JENT, or used red light therapy on their horses?

"Wavelengths of red light are converted to photon energy in the skin, decaying to an electron stream which stimulates biochemical energy synthesis in the cells stimulating the nerves and intraneural collagen matrix of the brain & body to promote natural pain relief and healing."

This appears to be done with a small torch with a red bulb in it, retailing at 395 Aus dollars. Not sure what the 3 day course costs because I couldn't find it mentioned anywhere, but I could probably hazard a guess.

I believe Dr Kerry Ridgeway uses a similar thing. I've seen him on a Ulcers DVD using a torch to ease muscle soreness relating to ulcer pain.

Equinology endorses her (and they aren't silly or dodgy at all).

And I am sure Anni Stonebridge has done a similar course in humans in order to relate it to horses.

From what I understand - it uses shiatsu/accupuncture points? I want to learn more about it but I have my hands full with everything else :o
