anyone moulting yet?

just wondering if anyones neds had a little moult yet. my filly and big mare are moulting a little in areas but they are living out too

i am, i'm always losing hair and my chest wig is starting to moult now too....

Yes, my girl has started to moult. Spring is coming, not long now!

Yes has been for a couple of weeks! has to be my least favourite job getting the hair out- the shearing blades are absolutley brilliant though.

Both live out and have no rugs on - personally - I'd be keeping my coat as long as possible but hey, I'm a wimp

Mine too, NF rugless but been stabled about 3 weeks, and others stabled and rugged. Maybe they know something about a forth coming heatwave!

Bert thinks spring is on its way - he is an 18mth colt, is just starting to get a cresty neck and one b*****k has put in an appearance. Little does he know.....

Mine's shedding the odd hair but to be fair this is the mildest week we've had since before Xmas so I'm expecting it to speed up shortly as normally by now I'm quite aware of being covered in hairs, once the shortest day is past he's usually underway. Mine's now rugless at night as was sweating in his stable rug and a no-fill lightweight rug for daytime out. Going to collect as much hair as I can this year and donate it to birds for their spring nests!
