Spit That Out

I've just sold my lad and i know I'm just having a moments "seller doubts" but has anyone sold there horse and regretted it?
I think the problem is that i sold him but the new owner for various reasons couldn't collect for 3 weeks!!!
She seems a really nice person, left me a deposit and a months livery, she showed me photo's of her current horse and yard. Seems perfect for my boy and couldn't have asked for a better buyer...i just wish she could have had him sooner as everyday that passes i feel like i don't want to sell him.
I would never back out on the deal as it would break her heart...The amount of stuff she has already bought him, she texts me everyday etc but it was already a heartbreaking sale for me and these extra weeks are killing me!!!
Only one more week to go trouble is do i spend as much time with him as i can or do i start to distance myself now?
She's offered for me to go and visit, keep in touch, and give me first refusal if she ever sells him etc How many people keep in touch with their horses new owners...is it something that everyone is keen on at first and then over the months or years drift apart get annoyed with or are you still in touch years on from the sale?
