Anyone sell Alva horse products?

This is what used to be called a pyramid selling operation - more properly (and safely) called multi level marketing. (MLM). The central reps persuade you to buy product from them on the promise that you can sell at a profit to others. Alva have apparently been on the market since 1995. I'll be entirely frank (or at least as frank as site rules permit) I've never heard of them.

I've tried some products but would not recommend. They smell nice but aren't particularly effective in my opinion, the sweet itch ones did nothing for my pony. You often find people giving them the hard sell on Facebook because they've been persuaded by the company to sell the products, but I'd stay well clear.

I use the fly spray on my mare and find it effective - at least as effective as all the other sprays I have tried - and the cream they do did help my mare's hock heal well. I think as with most horsey lotions and potions, what someone find works on their horse might not work on yours. Just my opinion. I am not a fan of the Carr and Day and Martin coat shine for example, but some people rave about it. It's all personal

I'm not a fan. Their products smell awful and one of mine had a really bad reaction to their itch spray and their fly spray. His skin was burning. Never again.

I find myself instantly turned off a product, the moment it starts being aggressively marketed by loads of people on social media. Alva has recently added itself to the list that already includes Hackup, Goodbye Flys and Premier Performance Calming cookies. I hate hate hate seeing countless posts about the same miracle product - to the point that I wouldn't buy them, even if they worked!
I also have issues with spelling of Goodbye Flys - makes me wince every time I see it!

Seeing this everywhere at the moment. You can normally tell the hard sales by the amount of emojis in their description and the over use of the word ‘amazing’ seems to be a big hit with these MLM companies.

^^ this! also somehow Hackup have got my phone number and keep texting me (never been a customer). there's no option to opt out or block them... think it's time for one of my trademark "meant to be snotty but end up being overly polite" emails

Ugh, me too. I can block spam texts, but there is no option at all to block their texts, it is very frustrating.

Incredibly off putting. I hate hard sales. I had a phone call from that guy at Hack Up one day whilst in the supermarket.... not a clue how he got my info. Barge pole springs to mind ever since!

The guy from Hack Up is especially unpleasant - the fact they have no regard for GDPR doesn't surprise me in the least!
