Hi just wondered if anyone else used these and how often they replace them?
My horse is shod every 6 weeks and her pads are replaced every time at £15 a set - i swear they dont need to be - they have no wear at all on them- i just wondered what everyone else did with regard to reusing them?

my horse has wedges - they arent pads that cover the whole foot though. They are reused probably twice so changed every third shoeing and they are £6 pair

Friends horse that I look after (and sort out the farrier) has them. At first he had white ones which was just connected at the back. He didn't have them replaced every time. They lasted about 4/5 months before they broke....

Now hw has an entire pad, althought the part under the foot has holes in, so isn't giving any support. Apparently they last forever!! (we'll see ;) ) He's had them over 6 months now and they still look new when scrubbed up to put back on. Think they were £25 ish...
